Case-spiration Exclusive - NEW ChatGPT-4o for Cases with Examples

I just got access and wanted to share the WOW factor here!

Hey everyone,

I do not normally send emails out of my normal schedule times BUT this is BIG news that you want to know about.

As you may or may not have know, OpenAI released their new version of ChatGPT today ChatGPT-4o and it’s amazing… so far.

I instantly went to my case generator and generated a case prompt to see what it would do.

Here is the short but impactful conversation to see.

I first put in the prompt and it generated a great hypothetical case for me that was 754 words in length and have discussion questions, figures and other data.

We could easily improve this case with these prompts generated by the free prompt generator…

Custom Prompts for modify your case

1. Expand upon the context and background information of the case study to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the situation.

2. Develop a detailed analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats present in the case study to gain a deeper insight into the key issues and challenges.

3. Create a set of discussion questions that encourage critical thinking and in-depth analysis of the case study's key issues and potential outcomes.

4. Generate teaching notes that provide a structured framework for educators to effectively teach the case study, including key points to emphasize and potential discussion topics.

5. Double the length of the case study by adding more detailed insights and information to enhance the depth and value of the content.

6. Provide a theoretical framework that can be applied to the case study, offering a deeper understanding of the underlying principles and concepts at play.

7. Develop a set of assessment prompts that can be used to evaluate students' understanding and application of the case study material, suitable for use with AI tools like ChatGPT.

8. Create a comprehensive analysis of the potential outcomes and conclusions that may arise from the case study, considering various perspectives and scenarios.

9. Identify the big underlying problem impacting the case study and explore potential solutions or strategies to address it effectively.

10. Generate assignment or project ideas that challenge students to apply the case study material in a practical and meaningful way, fostering a deeper understanding of the key issues and challenges.

Then I thought, hmmmm what about data and citations.. then I promptedthis….

ok this is a great case BUT I need it to be able a REAL company with REAL data and REAL apa citations in the case. Make sure to source your data and quotes and findings from real sources and give citations in the text. I need at minimum 15 references for this case.

It spit out this….. 16 in text citations. Now, what is really important is that this case is still hypothetical. NOT REAL BUT I can get around that which I have not taught you yet.

But that fact that it took data and integrated that data into the case seamlessly with citations ( Real sources but I am yet to connect them to the case) much like ChatGPT 4 is impressive.

Still not done perfectly BUT this showcases the possibilities for the future.

Here are a few sections for display purposes.

Figures and Numbers

  1. Phishing Attack Incidence: Reports indicated a 45% increase in phishing attacks targeting remote employees since the shift to remote working (Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report, 2022).
